Barger’s Offices to Collect Worn Flags

HOLLIDAYSBURG – Worn and damaged flags will be collected by Rep. Scott Barger’s Hollidaysburg and Bellwood offices in June to be prepared for proper retirement.

Barger (R-Blair/Huntingdon) will collect flags during regular business hours at 324 Allegheny St., Hollidaysburg, and 135 Stadium Drive, Bellwood.

“Because Flag Day is in June, I wanted to help everyone in the 80th District appropriately respect our flag. That includes ensuring flags past their useful life undergo disposal in line with federal etiquette,” Barger said.

Barger will work with community partners for a retirement ceremony.
